After over a decade of friendship, music and pleasure it's with vast regret we announce the end of the band.

Some time from now we will shut down SFP. We all feel it's been great years, yet it is time to turn the page and start a new chapter. We've had some of our best experiences in the band and there is no doubt whatsoever that we will be missing it. But we strongly feel this is the day for something new, to expand our horizons. There's been no struggle nor fight, we just feel that this is the right thing to do.

For now, our last words go out to all who've been there for us. You all know who you are and we'd like to express our enourmous grattitude to you, because without you we would not have had this great time which was the best in our lives.

RECORDINGS IN PROGRESS

SFP has left studio The Globe. We are now busy working on the vocals and the rough mixes of the eleven songs that were recorded. A few weeks from here we'll hit The Globe once more to do the final mixes together with Guido Maes (known from Soulwax, Silverene, etc...). We've also engaged the talented mister Yves Hellemans to take care of a new website and the lay-out of the new album. We've got some more shows coming up, starting off upcoming Friday with Belvedere in the OHK-venue in Ostend. Be there!

STUDIO

Big day today as this is the first day of the recordings of our new full length. We've stuffed our equipment in studio The Globe and together with sound technician Guido Maes and Jean - Louis Pourveur (Fatsoundz recordings) we'll be working on the new record for the upcoming 2 weeks. We're glad to announce some guest appearances as Tom Barbier (guitar player in Lemon), Minx from Flatcat and Jochen from Severance will be helping us out here and there. COOL TIMES

Nothing but good news these days! Last week we were added to the bill of the illustrious Broekrock Festival . Expect a huge party on September 25th as bands like Ignite, Morda, Silverene, Burning Heads and lots more are also playing. Check it out on www.broekrock.net . Other great news is that we're entering the studio from September 10th on to record for a full length cd that will be released by Eye Spy Records this fall. We're more than excited so the upcoming weeks we'll be working our asses off to finish the last songs. We'll surely keep you updated! Don't forget about our next gig on Thursday August 12th at Café The Top in Brugge City. The fact that Flatcat is playing as well AND that this is a open air show will make this a memorable evening for all. Starts at 20.00 sharp!

SUMMERTIME

I just added a couple of new shows, check them out in the gig section. Upcoming friday we'll be playing at Roadrash in Geluwe. This is our last show before a small surfing/relax break. After that we'll continue writing new songs, which is going excellent these days. We're also working on some new merch, we'll keep you updated. Within just a couple of weeks the Burning Down The House compilation will be released. As it features bands like Severance, Brave Like A Cowboy, SFP, Morda, Disengage and more nice stuff you don't want to miss this one. Only 5 euro! There's also a website, check it out here.

Stefaan recovered well from his wrist injury and we’re getting back on cruising speed. We’ve got a bunch of shows coming up the following weeks, please check out the show section. As you’ve probably already heard through the grapevine Stefaan took a bad crash in the Alps last week. However this will not affect us too severe. We do have to withdraw from our show in Gent upcoming Friday and we apologize for calling off at this time. However, no other shows will be cancelled, therefore SFP will be playing on the Eye Spy Gig on March the 14th with The Jackals and Misconduct at De Kelk (Langestraat, Brugge). Thanx to all the kids who sent us emails concerning “My Sweet Angel”. The song is as good as finished and will be available from here really soon.

Good news for all of you as we’re about to put a brandnew song on this very website. We’re finishing off “My Sweet Angel” this week so stay tuned the upcoming days. A big thank you goes out to all the kids that came out to see us in Oostende last week-end. We had the best time in ages so thanks a lot. Some more shows are coming up, yet be sure to take note of another nice Eye Spy gig on the 14th of March in Brugge where SFP will play in support of Swedish oldschool masters Misconduct. STILL ON TRACK

Allrightie! In contrast to what some might think, we're still doing our thing. I'm writing this triggered with a big smile from our last rehearsal which was REALLY big fun. We're improving our setlist as well, emphasize on some new stuff and have great laughs. You'll probably hear some of it in the near future. EyeSpy and us are also working on some distribution and shows in the French part of Belgium so we'll hit that region soon. As you might notice, we regained control of our website and we'll update it on a regular base, so keep checking it. Thanx!
